Outer Hebrides Expedition June 2006
In June '06 the Sea Cliff Kayakers team (Steve, John Carmody and 5 lucky clients) visited
Being at around 57degrees North Latitude and one of the most remote areas of the British Isles we enjoyed being in a sparsely inhabited-unspoiled environment, long daylight hours and a real sense of being in a remote wilderness.
This is a seakayaker's paradise and is still one of my all time favorite places to paddle.
Wide range of paddling conditions, Remote and Wild, Gaelic Culture, Unrestricted Camping, 1 day of rain in 10, Numerous wild life encounters, Incredible scenery, Friendly locals, SPACE.
We will be returning next year but until then here are some pictures.
