How did I start Kayaking?
When I was 18 I went to the north west of Scotland to learn to be a Mountaineer. Someone had left an old slalom kayak in a corner which the boss said I should take out on the water some time. A few months later he "suggested" that if I was going to continue to paddle the two, open, tidal miles to the other side of the loch I might want to buy a buoyancy aid and spray skirt.
Why do I still Kayak?
